We’re introducing Timezone selection at the Group Program level 🌍⏰

Previously, all Group Program appointments were automatically set using the Organisation’s default timezone. This update allows Organisations to define a specific timezone per Group Program, ensuring appointment times are accurate for where the program is actually delivered.

✨ What’s New

🌎 Timezone Field Added to Group Program Settings

When creating a Group Program, users can now:

  • Select a Timezone

  • The dropdown will default to the Organisation’s timezone

When editing a Group Program, users can:

  • Change the assigned Timezone at any time

🔄 Timezone Change Logic (Important)

If the Timezone is changed for an existing Group Program:

  • All future appointment timestamps will be updated to reflect the new timezone

  • This update occurs asynchronously in the background

  • Past appointments remain unchanged

This ensures scheduling integrity moving forward without disrupting historical records.

🗂 Data Migration

To support this new model:

  • All existing Group Programs have been automatically set to the Organisation’s timezone

This ensures no disruption to current scheduling behaviour.
