We’ve enhanced the Patient Group Import functionality to support Custom Fields, along with a new Download Template button to make setup faster and more accurate.

This update makes it easier for Organisations to create or migrate Groups at scale while maintaining structured, validated data.

✨ What’s New

• 🧩 Custom Field Support in Group Imports
  Organisations can now include Patient Group Custom Fields as additional columns in their import spreadsheet.

• 🧱 Custom Fields After Fixed Columns
  Custom field columns should appear after the standard (fixed) columns in the import file.

• 🔀 Flexible Column Order
  The system makes no assumption about the order of custom field columns — they can appear in any sequence after the fixed fields.

• 🏷️ Match on Readable Name
  Custom fields are mapped based on their Readable Name (the label shown in the platform).

• ✅ Validation & Safe Handling
  Custom field values are validated against their configuration:

  • Valid values are imported ✅

  • Invalid values are ignored ⚠️ (without blocking the full import)

• 📥 Download Template Button
  A new “Download Template” button has been added next to the import window.
  Organisations can use this template to:

  • Ensure the correct fixed column structure

  • See where Custom Fields should be placed

  • Reduce formatting errors before uploading
