# 13 Oct 2025: 🗓️ Side-by-Side Calendar – Patient Event Button

We’ve extended **Patient Events** into the **Side-by-Side Calendar view**, making it even easier for Organisations to add structured non-clinical time directly from the scheduling interface. 🗓️✨

#### ✨ What’s New

### ➕ + Patient Event Button Added to Patient Schedule Sidebar

Within the **Side-by-Side Calendar (Side by Side Cal)** view:

- The **Patient Schedule sidebar widget** now includes a  
  👉 **+ Patient Event** button

This allows Team Members to quickly create a Patient Event without navigating away from the calendar view.

When reviewing a patient’s calendar alongside clinician availability, Team Members can now:

- Add reading blocks
- Schedule gym sessions
- Allocate off-site leave
- Insert structured daily activities

All directly from the sidebar — no context switching required.
