15 Oct 2025: πŸ”— Group Programs – Location Field Supports Clickable URLs

We’ve enhanced the Location field in Group Programs to support clickable URL links. πŸ”—βœ¨

Organisations that are not using Wellifiy's integrated video call solution for Grou Programs can now paste a Zoom link (or any URL) directly into the Location field β€” and patients can click it in the Patient Web Portal (PWP) or mobile app to open the meeting directly.

✨ What’s New

πŸ”— Location Field Now Detects & Displays URLs

Within Group Program settings and appointments:

  • The Location field continues to support regular text (e.g. β€œRoom 3 – Level 2”)

  • It now also supports URL links

  • If a valid URL is entered, it will display as a clickable link for patients

Example use cases:

  • Zoom meeting link

  • Microsoft Teams link

  • Google Meet link

  • Custom virtual meeting URL

πŸ“± Patient Experience

When viewing a Group Program session:

  • In the Patient Web Portal

  • In the Mobile App

If the Location contains a URL, patients can:

  • Tap or click the link

  • Be redirected directly to the virtual session

No copying and pasting required. βœ…

πŸ’‘ How It Helps

🌐 Simplifies Virtual Group Delivery

For Organisations delivering:

  • Virtual therapy groups

  • Online psychoeducation programs

  • Remote EAP workshops

  • Hybrid care models

This reduces friction and ensures smoother session access.

🧠 Reduces Admin Workarounds

Previously, virtual links may have required:

  • Manual messaging

  • Email reminders with links

  • Separate calendar invites

Now, the session link can live directly inside the appointment itself.

πŸ₯ Supports Flexible Delivery Models

Whether programs are:

  • In-person

  • Virtual

  • Hybrid

The Location field now adapts to both physical and digital environments.

A small but powerful enhancement that makes virtual group sessions easier and more seamless for Organisations and patients alike. πŸ’™
