# 16 Oct 2025: 🛠 Appointments – Custom Fields

We’re expanding Custom Fields to support **Individual Appointments** — giving Organisations greater flexibility in capturing appointment-specific data. 🗂️✨

This enhancement allows custom data points to flow consistently across scheduling, exports, and API integrations.

#### ✨ What’s New

### 🛠 Custom Fields Now Available for Appointments

Within the **Custom Fields configuration screen**, a new dropdown option has been added:

👉 **Appointments**

Organisations can now create custom fields specifically for **Individual Appointments**.

### 📅 Displayed in Individual Appointment Modals

Any Custom Fields created under “Appointments” will:

- Appear directly within the **Individual Appointment modal**
- Be available when creating or editing an appointment
- Be stored against that appointment record

---

### 📤 Included in Appointment Exports

Custom Appointment Fields will now:

- Appear in **Appointment Export files**
- Be available for reporting and reconciliation workflows

This supports finance, operational, and analytics use cases.

### 🔌 Available via Appointments API

Custom Fields are also:

- Accessible through the **Appointments API**
- Included in API responses for programmatic access

This ensures consistency across integrations and enterprise data pipelines.

Organisations can now capture appointment-specific data such as:

- Funding source
- Session category
- Internal tracking codes
