20 Nov 2025: πŸ“£ Posts / My Newsfeed Module

We’ve introduced a brand-new Posts Module, enabling Organisations to communicate directly with patients via the new Newsfeed (My Feed) section accessible in both the patient mobile app and web portal β€” supported by push and email notifications.

Previously, Organisations lacked a simple way to broadcast updates across all patients, specific Patient Groups, or Group Programs. This release introduces a structured, targeted, omni-channel communication capability built directly into the platform.

What’s New ✨

πŸ–₯️ Clinical Portal – New β€œPosts” Tab

A new top-level tab called Posts has been added to the Clinical Portal.

Main Screen

Displays a table view including:

  • πŸ“… Date Created

  • πŸ“ Subject

  • πŸ‘₯ Posted To

  • πŸ‘€ Created By

A + Post button allows clinicians to create a new announcement.

πŸ“ Post Creation Modal

When creating a post, clinicians can complete the following fields:

  • Subject (text field)

  • Content (rich text editor supporting Markdown + image attachments)

  • Post To

    • All Patients

    • Patient Group

    • Group Program

If Patient Group or Group Program is selected, a multi-select Target Audience dropdown appears.

Buttons:

  • Post – publishes and sends the announcement

  • Cancel

πŸ“– Read View

After posting, team members can open any announcement to view:

  • Full content

  • Author

  • Date created

  • Target audience details

🌐 Patient Web Portal & Mobile App – β€œMy Feed”

New Section: My Feed

A new My Feed section has been added to the main navigation in both:

  • Patient Web Portal (PWP)

  • Mobile App

Each announcement appears as a card displaying:

  • πŸ“ Subject

  • πŸ“… Date Posted

  • πŸ‘€ Author

  • πŸ“„ Content (Markdown-rendered, including images)

🎯 Smart Targeting

Patients will only see posts that apply to:

  • Their entire Organisation

  • Their specific Patient Group(s)

  • Their specific Group Program(s)

This ensures communications remain relevant and appropriately segmented.

πŸ”” Omni-Channel Notifications

When a post is published:

  • πŸ“² Push Notification

    • Sent to relevant patients

    • Includes subject only

  • πŸ“§ Email Notification

    • Sent to relevant patients

    • Includes subject + full content

  • πŸ“± In-App (My Feed)

    • Automatically appears

    • Cannot be turned off

βš™οΈ Notification Preferences

For Patients

In Notification Settings (Web & Mobile):

  • My Feed – Email toggle

  • My Feed – Push toggle

  • In-App – Always on (no toggle)

For Organisations (Staff Portal)

In Patient Notification Settings Management:

  • My Feed – Email

  • My Feed – Push

This gives Organisations the ability to alter notification settings on behalf of a patient if requested.

How It Helps πŸ’‘

πŸ“’ Centralised Communication
