22 Oct 2025: Forms – Allow Patients to Edit Their Submitted Forms
We’ve added a new control that lets Organisations decide whether a published Form can be updated by patients after submission. ✍️✅
This is ideal for forms where information may change over time (e.g., contact details, medication lists, consent updates, symptom tracking).
✨ What’s New
✅ New “Editable by Patient” Flag on Published Forms
When creating or editing a Form, Organisations can now enable a new setting:
-
Allow patients to make updates to their form submission ✅
If enabled, patients will be able to re-open and update their submitted responses (based on your Organisation’s workflow).
If disabled, the Form remains submission-only (no patient edits after submission).
📋 Visibility in Form Management
To make this easy to manage at scale, the Form Management table now includes a new column showing whether each Form is:
-
✅ Editable by patient
or -
❌ Not editable
This gives Teams quick visibility across your full forms library.
💡 How It Helps
🔄 Supports “Living” Forms
Some patient information isn’t static. This feature helps Organisations handle forms that need to stay current, such as:
-
Intake updates before admission
-
Ongoing tracking / progress check-ins
-
Personal details changes
-
Care planning information that evolves over time
🧠 More Control, Less Admin
Instead of relying on staff to manually collect updates, Organisations can allow patients to keep certain forms up to date themselves—while still keeping other forms locked for compliance or clinical integrity.
