27 Oct 2025: 🧾 Invoices – Link Manual Invoices to Appointments

We’ve improved invoicing workflows by allowing Organisations to link a manually created invoice to an existing appointment. 🧾📅

Previously, when creating an invoice manually, Team Members could select a patient and add line items, but could not associate the invoice with a specific appointment. This enhancement closes that gap and aligns manual invoices with the same appointment-linked behaviour as auto-created invoices.


✨ What’s New

🔗 New “Linked Appointment” Block on Manual Invoice Creation

When creating an invoice manually, a new block now appears:

Linked Appointment

  • Located under the “Billed To” block

  • Uses the same UI pattern as Case Notes → Linked Appointment

  • Includes a dropdown field labelled: Appointment

  • The dropdown is optional


✅ What Happens When You Save

If an appointment is selected:

🧾 Invoice Read/View Screen

  • The invoice will display Appointment Info in the same way as invoices that are auto-created from appointments.

📅 Appointment Model Reference

  • The invoice will be referenced on the associated Appointment record, consistent with how auto-created invoices behave.

  • Invoices are created after the appointment has occurred

  • The appointment was booked outside the normal flow but still needs to be billed
