Adding a Video Call to a Group Program

You can enable a secure video call for any Group Program so that patients can join sessions virtually through the patient mobile app or web portal. Once activated, a Join button appears for patients directly on their appointment card for each session.


📍 When to Use This Feature

Use this feature when Group Program sessions are held online, fully or partially, and you want a simple, secure way for patients to join video calls.


🚀 How to Enable a Video Call for a Group Program

  1. Go to the Group Programs section in the sidebar.

  2. Find the program you want to enable video for.

  3. Click the ••• (more) menu to the right of the program name.

  4. Select Edit.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the modal and enable the Join Video Call toggle.

  6. Click Save.

✅ Once enabled, a camera icon will appear in the Group Programs list as confirmation that video calling is active for that program.


👀 What Patients Will See

  • A “Join” button will appear on each session’s appointment card in the patient’s mobile app and web portal.

  • This button becomes visible shortly before the session starts and disappears afterwards.

  • Clicking the Join button launches the video call in-app or in the browser.


🧑‍⚕️ How Team Members Join the Call

Team Members can join Group Program video calls in two ways:

Option 1: Via Calendar

  1. Go to My Calendar or Team Calendars.

  2. Click on the relevant session in the calendar.

  3. In the appointment modal, click Join Call.

Option 2: Via Dashboard

  1. Navigate to My Dashboard.

  2. Locate the Upcoming Appointments widget.

  3. Click the ••• (more) menu next to the session.

  4. Select Join Meeting.

🔐 Only Team Members assigned to the session or program will see these options.
