Archiving Channels

Team Members can archive channels to keep their Message Centre organised. Archiving hides channels from your active list but does not remove you from the channel.

📦 What Happens When You Archive a Channel?

• The channel moves out of your Active Channel List.

• It appears in the Archived Channels section lower down the screen.

• 🚫 You will not receive notifications from archived channels.

• You remain a member of the channel — you have not left it.

🗂️ How to Archive a Channel

1. In the Message Centre, open the channel you want to archive.

2. Click the Action menu (•••).

3. Select Archive Channel.

4. ✅ The channel will move to the Archived section.

🔄 How to Unarchive a Channel

1. Scroll down to the Archived Channels section.

2. Find the channel you want to bring back.

3. Click the Action menu (•••).

4. Select Unarchive Channel.

5. ✅ The channel will return to your Active Channel List, and notifications will resume.

📌 Key Points

• Archiving is a personal choice: it only affects your view, not other Team Members.

• Notifications are paused for archived channels.

• You remain part of the channel and can unarchive anytime.

• Great for keeping your active workspace focused and clutter-free.
