Can’t See a Feature or Patient? It Might Be a Permissions Issue
If a Team Member can’t see a patient, access a feature, or perform certain actions, the most likely cause is a role-based permissions issue.
🔐 How Permissions Work
Every Team Member is assigned a Role (e.g. Admin, Clinician, Reception) in the Staff Portal.
Each role has specific permissions that control what the user can view and do across the platform.
🔧 Permissions are managed in:
Administration → Roles & Permissions
✅ How to Check and Fix It

Go to Administration → Team Members

Find the Team Member having the issue.

Click their name to view details.

Check which Role they’re assigned to.

Go to Administration → Roles & Permissions and open that role.

Review the permissions and ensure the relevant ones are enabled.
⚠️ Changes to roles apply to all Team Members assigned that role.
If you need custom access for just one person, consider duplicating the role and editing it.
