Configuring Content for Patient Groups

Each Patient Group can be configured with a tailored set of Content Modules, ensuring that patients have access to resources relevant to their program, condition, or care journey.

๐Ÿงญ Where Group Content Appears

Content assigned at the Patient Group level appears to patients in the matching section of the Patient App and Patient Web Portal:

  • Listen โ€“ Audio programs
  • Watch โ€“ Video-based education or support
  • Boost โ€“ Motivation and mindset tools
  • Sleep โ€“ Sleep-specific resources
  • Tools & Resources โ€“ A flexible section that can include any type of content: PDFs, web links, videos, audio, or text

For example, a module added to the group's Tools & Resources section appears in the Tools & Resources section of the app for every patient in that group.

Each section surfaces the module type it supports when you're adding content:

  • Listen, Boost, Sleep โ€“ Audio Modules
  • Watch, Tools & Resources โ€“ Mixed Modules

๐Ÿ‘ค Group Content vs For You

Group-level content is separate from For You, which is the individual-patient content section:

  • Patient Group content (this article) is configured on the group and appears in the section tabs above for every patient in the group
  • For You is assigned per patient via Patient Overview โ†’ Content โ†’ For You, for content a specific patient needs over and above their group's configuration. Content attached to a Stage in a Patient Journey is also delivered to the individual patient's For You section when the automation triggers

๐Ÿ“˜ For journey-based delivery, see Set Up Automations Within Journey Stages.

๐Ÿ“š Accessing the Content Library

When adding content to a group, you can browse and assign:

  • Modules from Wellifiy's core Content Library, curated by clinicians
  • Any custom modules your Organisation has uploaded

๐Ÿ”ง See Creating a Content Module to learn how to upload and manage custom content.

โœ… How to Add Content to a Patient Group

  1. Go to Patient Management โ†’ Patient Groups
  2. Click the name of the group you want to manage
  3. Open the Content tab
  4. Select the section you're adding content to (Listen, Watch, Boost, Sleep, or Tools & Resources)
  5. Click the + Modules button to open the Add Module modal
  6. In the modal:
    • Browse or search available content
    • View key details (title, description, labels, creator, credit)
    • Tick the checkboxes beside the modules you want to include
  7. Click Save

๐Ÿ“ฒ Content becomes immediately visible to all patients in the group.

๐Ÿงพ Managing Existing Modules

Modules already assigned to a section appear in a list showing:

  • Module name
  • Description
  • Created by
  • Credit
  • Labels (e.g. Sleep, Mindfulness, Audio)

To remove a module from the group, click the ๐Ÿ—‘ trash icon beside it. Removing it from the group doesn't delete the module itself โ€” it stays in your Content Library for use elsewhere.

๐Ÿ’ก Best Practices

  • Match the module type to the section: build Audio Modules for Listen, Boost, and Sleep, and Mixed Modules for Watch and Tools & Resources
  • Keep each section focused โ€” a shorter, relevant list is easier for patients to engage with than an exhaustive one
  • Use Labels on your modules so they're easy to find in the Add Module modal
  • For one-off content a single patient needs, use their For You section rather than adding it to the whole group
  • To seed a module across every group at once, see Add Content to All Patient Groups at Once
