Creating a Content Module

Content Modules let you upload and organise educational resources to share with patients through the mobile app and web portal.

📍 Where to Create Modules

Go to:
Portal Management → Content Management → Content Modules

Then click + New in the top-right corner.

🧩 Choose Your Module Type

When creating a new module, you'll be asked to select the type:

🔀 Mixed Module (Recommended for most use cases)

Allows you to upload any combination of:

  • Videos

  • Audio files

  • PDFs or documents

  • Website links

  • Plain text

This is the most flexible option and works well when your module includes more than one content type. It also results in a multi-format display in the patient app, where content is shown in its relevant format (e.g. video player, document viewer, etc.).

🔉 Audio Module

Allows you to upload only audio files (e.g. .mp3).

This option provides a slightly different UI in the mobile app that’s optimised for an audio-only experience - such as a clean playlist-style view. Use this module type when you want to deliver a purely audio-based experience (e.g. guided meditations, sleep stories, or a music series).

📝 Completing the Module Setup

  1. Enter Module Name (required)

  2. Add a Description

  3. Upload a Thumbnail (optional but recommended)

  4. Add Labels

  5. Add Credit

Click Save to create the module.

📥 Adding Content to a Mixed Module

Once the module is saved:

  • You can start adding content items (audio, video, website links, files, or plain text)

  • Use the + New button to add each resource

  • You can edit, reorder, or remove content at any time using the ••• menu

💡 Best Practices

  • Use Mixed Modules unless the module is strictly audio-only

  • Use Audio Modules for content that benefits from a streamlined listening experience

  • Add thumbnails to increase visual appeal in the mobile app

  • Use Description and Credit fields to optimise UI and add context for your patients

Next step:
➡️ Assign your module to a Patient Group or individual patient to make it accessible.
