Creating and Managing Patient Journeys
Patient Journeys let you structure care into stages and automate important tasks at each step. You can create as many journeys as needed—each tailored to a specific clinical pathway (e.g. Addiction Recovery, Perinatal Care, Mood Disorders Outpatient).
This article covers how to create, edit, archive, and manage your clinic’s Patient Journeys.
🛠 How to Create a New Journey
-
Go to the Patient Journeys section in the left menu.
-
Click the + Add button.
-
Enter a name for your Journey (e.g. “Addiction Recovery”).
-
Click Save.
Once created, you’ll be taken into the Journey view where you can begin adding Stages.
✏️ Editing a Journey Name
If you need to change the name of an existing Journey:
-
Click the three dots (•••) to the right of the Journey name.
-
Select Edit.
-
Update the Journey Name.
-
Click Save.
🗂 Archiving a Journey
You can archive a Patient Journey if it’s no longer in use.
-
Click the three dots next to the Journey name.
-
Select Archive.
-
The Journey will move to the Archived tab.
🔒 Archiving a Journey does not delete any associated patient data—it simply removes it from the active list. You can still access and review past data at any time.
👁 Viewing Archived Journeys
-
Go to the Patient Journeys section.
-
Click the Archived tab at the top of the screen.
-
From here, you can view Journey details and patient history.
🧭 What’s Next?
After creating your Journey, the next step is to add and configure Stages (e.g. Pre-Admission, Intake, Treatment). Each stage can include automations to streamline patient onboarding, care delivery, and follow-up.
