Creating and Managing Patient Journeys

Patient Journeys let you structure care into stages and automate important tasks at each step. You can create as many journeys as needed—each tailored to a specific clinical pathway (e.g. Addiction Recovery, Perinatal Care, Mood Disorders Outpatient).

This article covers how to create, edit, archive, and manage your clinic’s Patient Journeys.

🛠 How to Create a New Journey

  1. Go to the Patient Journeys section in the left menu.

  2. Click the + Add button.

  3. Enter a name for your Journey (e.g. “Addiction Recovery”).

  4. Click Save.

Once created, you’ll be taken into the Journey view where you can begin adding Stages.

✏️ Editing a Journey Name

If you need to change the name of an existing Journey:

  1. Click the three dots (•••) to the right of the Journey name.

  2. Select Edit.

  3. Update the Journey Name.

  4. Click Save.

🗂 Archiving a Journey

You can archive a Patient Journey if it’s no longer in use.

  1. Click the three dots next to the Journey name.

  2. Select Archive.

  3. The Journey will move to the Archived tab.

🔒 Archiving a Journey does not delete any associated patient data—it simply removes it from the active list. You can still access and review past data at any time.

👁 Viewing Archived Journeys

  1. Go to the Patient Journeys section.

  2. Click the Archived tab at the top of the screen.

  3. From here, you can view Journey details and patient history.

🧭 What’s Next?

After creating your Journey, the next step is to add and configure Stages (e.g. Pre-Admission, Intake, Treatment). Each stage can include automations to streamline patient onboarding, care delivery, and follow-up.
