# Creating Services (Individual Appointments)

## Set up 1:1 services that Team Members can be booked for.

This article covers how to create individual (one-on-one) services that can be booked by staff or patients.

Before assigning services to Team Members or enabling appointment bookings, your organisation needs to define the list of available services.

1. Go to `Booking Management → Bookable Services`
2. Click the `+Service` button to open the Bookable Service modal
3. Fill in the following details.
   
     - *Service Name* – visible to patients in the app
     - *Description* – also visible to patients in the app
     - *Duration* (in minutes) – how long the appointment will go for
     - *Padding* – optional buffer time before/after the session
     - *Interval* – defines the spacing of available slots
4. Billing Options.
   
   If this is **not** a paid service: 
   
     - Leave the `This Is A Paid Service `toggle **OFF**
   
   If this **is** a paid service: 
   
     - Toggle `This Is A Paid Service` **ON**
     - A new section will appear for linking the service to a billable item
       
           - Click `+Billable Service`
           - Select the appropriate Billable Service from the dropdown
       
       💡 *Billable Services must be created beforehand via the Billable Services section (see related article [here)](https://support.wellifiy.com/en-au/knowledge-hub/create-a-billable-service?hsLang=en-au).*
5. Click `Save` to create the service
