Group Channels

Group Channels allow Team Members to set up shared communication spaces that include multiple patients and Team Members. They’re useful for group therapy, support programs, or program updates.

⚠️ Important: Only Team Members with Messaging Management Permission in their role can create Group Channels.


👥 What are Group Channels?

  • A shared channel that can include multiple patients and Team Members.

  • Visible in the Message Centre for Team Members.

  • Visible in the mobile app and Patient Web Portal for patients added to the group.

  • Flexible: Team Members can add or remove participants as needed.


🛠️ Creating a Group Channel

  1. In the Clinical Portal, go to the Message Centre.

  2. Scroll to the Group Channels section.

  3. Click the ➕ button.

  4. Add the patients and Team Members you’d like to include.

  5. Click Create.

  6. ✅ The channel is now active and appears in:

    • The Message Centre for all Team Members added.

    • The mobile app and Patient Web Portal for all patients added.


➕ Adding or Removing Participants

  • Add participants: Click the Action menu (•••)Edit+ Patient or + Clinician.

  • Remove participants: From the same edit screen, deselect or remove the participant.

  • Changes take effect immediately for everyone in the channel.
