Group Program Case Notes
The Group Program Notes feature allows Team Members to create a single session note and apply it to multiple patients at once. This saves time and ensures consistency when documenting a group session attended by several patients.
📍 Where to Access It
-
Go to Group Programs from the sidebar.
-
Click into the relevant program (e.g. Mindfulness 101).
-
Navigate to the Attendance tab.
-
In the Session Attendance Record, find the correct date.
-
Click the ••• menu next to the session.
-
Select Create Group Note.
✍️ How to Create a Group Note
Once you’ve opened the Group Note screen:
-
Review the session details at the top — including Program Name, Date, and Start Time.
-
In the Patients in Session section, tick the checkbox beside each patient you want to include in the note.
-
In the Note Input section:
-
(Optional) Select a Template to prefill headings or structure.
-
Enter a Title for the note (e.g. “Mindfulness Session 4”).
-
Write your Case Note using the editor.
-
-
Choose how to save:
-
Save & Exit – Save as a draft (status: In Progress)
-
Save & Finalise – Locks the note (status: Completed)
-
💡 Each selected patient will receive an individual case note entry in their record, with identical content and linked to the same session.
✅ What Happens After Saving
-
A separate note is created for each patient selected.
-
Notes will appear in the patient's Case Notes section under their profile.
-
You can return to edit In Progress notes later — finalised notes are read-only.
