Group Programs vs Patient Groups
Wellifiy offers two distinct but complementary features - Patient Groups and Group Programs - to support personalised care delivery and structured group-based interventions. While both involve managing groups of patients, they serve very different functions.
🔹 Patient Groups: Configure What Patients See in the App
Patient Groups are used to define what a patient can see and access in the Wellifiy app. They allow clinics to control app configuration for different cohorts.
Key Uses:
-
Content Access: Determine which modules (e.g. Watch, Listen, Boost, Sleep) and specific content items a patient can access.
-
Appointment Options (if enabled): Control which service types and providers a patient can book with.
-
UI Configuration: Tailor how the app appears to the patient based on their group assignment.
⚠️ Each patient can only be assigned to one Patient Group at a time. This ensures a clear and consistent app experience per cohort.
🔹 Group Programs: Schedule and Manage Structured Group Care
Group Programs are used for running scheduled, structured group sessions, such as group therapy, educational webinars, or clinical workshops.
Key Uses:
-
Calendar-Based Sessions: Create a schedule of group appointments.
-
Video Sessions: Add a video call so patients and Team Members can join virtually.
-
Attendance Tracking: Log patient attendance for each session.
-
Group Notes: Write a single case note and apply it to all attendees.
-
Patient Status Management: Change a patient’s status (Booked, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled). Changing from "Booked" removes all future sessions from the patient's calendar and app.
✅ Patients can be enrolled in multiple Group Programs at the same time.
