# Linking a Billable Service to a Bookable Service
To enable **invoicing and payment collection** for appointments, a Billable Service must be attached to a **Bookable Service**. This connects your calendar availability with your billing configuration, ensuring that when appointments are booked, the correct fee is applied.

#### 🧭 Steps to Link a Billable Service
1. Go to **Booking Management** → **Bookable Services**.
2. Select an existing service or click **+ Service** to create a new one.
3. Fill in the standard booking details:
- **Name** (e.g., *Telehealth Consult*)
- **Description**
- **Location**
- **Duration**, **Padding**, and **Interval**
- Toggle **Auto Add Video Call** if applicable
4. Scroll down and switch **ON** the toggle:
`🔘 This is a Paid Service`
5. A new section will appear titled **Billable Services**.
6. Use the dropdown to select the Billable Service you want to attach.
- Unit Price is pulled from the Billable Service setup.
7. Click **Save**.
💡 Once linked, the **Billable** column in the Bookable Services list will show "Yes" and the service will now generate invoices when booked and attended.

#### 🔄 To Edit or Remove
- Click the `•••` menu next to a Bookable Service in the list view.
- Select **Edit**, and adjust the Billable Service section.
- Use the **trash icon** to remove a linked service.

➡️ Next Steps: Once your Bookable Services are configured and billable, any attended appointments using these services can generate invoices and trigger payments via Stripe.
