Manually Create and Activate a New Patient

Create a new patient profile in the platform by entering their basic details. Once added, the patient can be activated, giving them access to your organisation’s white-labelled, Wellifiy-powered Patient Mobile App and Web Portal.

 

🔹 Step 1: Navigate to the Patient List

From the sidebar, go to Patient List.


🔹 Step 2: Click + New

Click the + New button in the top-right corner of the Patient List screen to open the Add Patient form.


🔹 Step 3: Complete the Required Fields

The following fields must be completed to save a new patient:

  • First Name – Required

  • Last Name – Required

  • Email – Required (used for activation and login)

  • Clinician – Required (select the Primary Team Member responsible)

  • Patient Group – Required (defaults to “Default” but should be reviewed and changed if needed)

Optional fields include:

  • MRN (Patient ID)

  • Service Start Date

  • Date of Birth

  • Labels

  • Country

  • Mobile Phone

  • Profile Picture

Once you’ve filled in the required information, click Save to create the patient profile.


✉️ Activating a Patient

After the patient is created, a Send Activation button will appear in their Patient Profile widget.

When you click Send Activation:

  • The patient receives an activation email which contains:

    • Download links to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store

    • A One-Time Password (OTP)

  • If a valid mobile number is entered into their patient profile and SMS is enabled for their country, they patient will also receive an SMS with the app download links and OTP.


🔓 How Patients Log In

To access the platform, the patient should:

  1. Download the Wellifiy-powered app using the provided link

  2. Tap Sign In (not “Create Account”)

  3. Enter their email address and One-Time Password

  4. They will be instantly logged in and prompted to set a permanent password for future access

🔐 Note: After logging in patients can go to My Settings in their mobile app (located in the Side Bar menu) and select Reset Password to create a new password.
