Using the Heidi Widget for AI Scribing & Note Generation

The Heidi widget integrates seamlessly into the Case Note Edit screen in Wellifiy to support clinicians with AI-powered scribing and note drafting. It helps reduce documentation time by generating structured clinical notes from your session conversations or transcripts.


🔌 What You’ll Need First

To use the Heidi widget in Wellifiy, make sure you have the following:

✅ 1. A Heidi Health Account

You’ll need an active account with Heidi Health. Heidi is a clinical AI assistant designed to help healthcare professionals document faster and more accurately using natural language tools.

If you don’t yet have an account, visit heidihealth.com to learn more and sign up.

✅ 2. The Heidi Chrome Extension

Install the Heidi Chrome Extension from the Chrome Web Store to enable the widget within your Wellifiy dashboard.

  • Once installed and logged in to your Heidi account, the widget will appear on the right-hand side of the Case Note screen.

  • The extension securely connects to your Heidi workspace and activates the AI assistant for supported sessions.

⚠️ If the widget does not appear, check that you're using Google Chrome and that you're signed into the Heidi extension.


🧠 What Heidi Can Do

Once active, the Heidi widget offers:

Tab Function
Context Displays key patient and session details
Transcript Shows real-time or uploaded transcript from the session
Note AI-generated draft note, typically in the SOAP format
 

📝 Writing Your Note with Heidi

  1. Review the Suggested Note
    In the Note tab, Heidi will provide a structured draft (e.g. Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) based on the session data.

  2. Copy into the Case Note
    Click Copy at the bottom of the widget to paste the content into your Case Note field in Wellifiy.

  3. Save or Finalise
    Once complete, click Save & Exit or Save & Finalise to save the note.
